This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”). Please read this privacy policy carefully. Session Notes: Text notes and comments you add to your kart setup sessions

Location Data: We collect precise and approximate location information to provide real-time weather data and track location features. This data is used solely for providing weather information relevant to your karting sessions and is not stored or shared with third parties.
Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and crash reporting.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used and session duration, to improve app performance and user experience.

Weather Data

We integrate with third-party weather services to provide real-time weather information based on your location. This data is retrieved in real-time and is not permanently stored by us.

Provide App Functionality:

Track and manage kart setup configurations
Store driver profiles and session data
Retrieve weather data for your location
Generate PDF reports of your setups
Synchronize data across your devices (if using cloud backup)

Improve User Experience:

Display Advertisements:

Show relevant advertisements through Appodeal advertising platform
Personalize ad content based on your interests (you can opt-out in device settings)

Data Storage

All your kart setup data, driver profiles, and session information are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store this information on our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud backup features (if available).

Photos you add to the App are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

Appodeal (Advertising)

We use Appodeal to display advertisements in the App. Appodeal is an advertising mediation platform that may work with multiple ad networks and may collect and use information such as:

Device advertising ID
IP address
Device information
App usage data
Location information (for ad targeting)

You can opt-out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

Weather Data Providers

We retrieve weather information from third-party weather services based on your location. Weather data is fetched in real-time and is not permanently stored.

Note: Denying location access will prevent weather data features from functioning but will not affect other app features.

Camera and Photo Access

The App requests access to your camera and photo library to:

Add profile photos for drivers
Attach photos to session documentation
Capture images of kart setups and track conditions

You can control camera and photo permissions through your device settings:

iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos/Camera → Kart Setup Elite
Android: Settings → Apps → Kart Setup Elite → Permissions → Camera/Storage

All photos are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to any servers.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

With Your Consent: When you explicitly choose to share data (e.g., exporting PDF reports)
Third-Party Service Providers:

Appodeal advertising platform for displaying advertisements
Google Play Services / Apple App Store for in-app purchases
Weather data providers for real-time weather information

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests from public authorities.
Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data Security

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete such information.

Local Data: You can manage your data directly within the App (delete drivers, sessions, photos)
Account Deletion: Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data

Data Retention

Local Data: All data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App
Usage Analytics: Automatically deleted after 26 months
Crash Reports: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes

International Data Transfers

If you are using the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your country’s laws.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

Updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy
Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
Sending a notification through the App (for material changes)

Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature. The App does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. However, you can control advertising tracking through your device settings as described in the AdMob section above.
